Oil should be filtered each time it is transferred from one vessel to another because additional contamination is inevitably introduced whenever oil is handled.
Removes contaminants to a single micron, removes water and glycol. Portable design moves easily from site to site, increases fluid life, decreases hazardous waste disposal. Use on most synthetic and petroleum-based fluids. Operation/service manual included.
Applications: for most hydraulic and lube oil reservoirs in manufacturing, machine shops, injection molding, oil EDM machines.
Configuration: single housing, dual housing, optional bag filter.
Flow rate: 1 - 8 GPM

These custom systems can be built to your configurations and specifications. The same Harvard™ Brand quality will reduce waste generated significantly.
A high percentage of hydraulic failure is due to filtration failure. Micro Lube provides technical assistance and training with the installation of all Micro Lube filtration equipment. Once a filtration system is installed, Micro Lube’s attention to customer service doesn’t stop there.
Micro Lube takes pride in designing and manufacturing systems used in a vast array of applications in numerous major industries, including:
Government
Construction
Mining
Trucking
Concrete
Industrial Applications
Micro Lube’s innovative flow-through filtration systems route oil-flow from the top and bottom of the filter element, through the media to the collector, to the center tube, and out of the canister. As the oil moves through the media, it loses pressure while the exterior of the element remains constant, causing a slight funnel-shape deformation in which larger particles are caught at the top and smaller particles are retained in the lower area, where the funnel is smaller. This filtration process allows the filter to hold larger quantities of contaminants in comparison to surface media filters.
Since the media is designed with a dehydrated media it is also effective in removing moisture, enabling the particles and moisture to be removed with the same filter. However, in situations where moisture is not to be removed, an appropriate media may be used to remove solid contaminants only.
As surprising as it may seem, most new oils purchased today are not filtered before being sold. Yes, the new oil is refined, looks translucent and visually appears clean but when viewed at a microscopic level it contains unwanted particles. In many cases, the filtered oil in the equipment being replaced has less unwanted particles than the new, unfiltered oil being added during an oil change.
Filtering the new oil is a very critical, proactive maintenance step. Which would you prefer, assuming or knowing that the new oil is truly clean? The oil filtration process must start with clean oil to positively impact equipment performance. With the expenses, complexities and increasing demands on equipment today one must capitalize on every performance advantage possible. New oil filtering is an easy first step to apply and a sure bet.
We are ready to listen, advise, recommend a local distributor, demonstrate performance and offer a cost effective solution gained by over 40 years of industry knowledge and experience.
